POLISH FOR BUSINESS

GENERAL POLISH & CULTURE/LEISURE

POLISH FOR ACADEMIC PURPOSES

POLISH FOR PROFESSIONALS

Conversation skills are improved, particularly for presentations and taking part in press conferences.

METHODS

Books: we don't use text books unless they are essential.

Instruction: starting from the first lesson we speak only Polish in the classroom.

Grammar:
although the emphasis is on communication, grammar is not ignored. We teach how to use it correctly by introducing the grammatical problems in a natural context. The students don't just learn Polish, they assimilate it through acting out simple situations presented by the teacher. Then the students build their own phrases using the same sentence pattern in a different context.

Learning: We only use active learning. The method uses building blocks: the participants build more and more sophisticated structures by combining very simple elements.

Language Skills:
we develop communication skills from the very basic level of comprehension and speaking. However, reading and writing are not omitted. At intermediate and advanced levels, the four language skills are developed in a more balanced manner.

TUTORS

Our teachers are university graduates, some of them with a PhD and experience in teaching at university.

All the tutors have been trained to use the latest methodology for teaching Polish to foreign students.

Their open, outgoing and lively personalities enable them to quickly achieve a rapport with the students and to develop each student's confidence, especially in conversation skills.

They have a broad education which enables them to introduce cultural and social aspects related to the language.

Last but not least, they must be creative to present the lessons in a simple and inspiring way.
